CAE Technology Services
Prioritising Young People
Getting that crucial first opportunity in employment is harder today than it’s ever been for young people, and a commitment to helping school and college leavers with the first step will be rewarded at this year’s Hertfordshire Business Awards. Sponsored by CAE Technology Services, the Supporting Young People Award will celebrate businesses committed to helping young people through education and into employment.
CAE Technology Services is an IT infrastructure services reseller, enabling the successful adoption of relevant technology for customers across 30 countries. Despite being a technology focussed business, CAE believe that however good the product and service, a business’s people can be the make or break difference between offerings.
“We understand that it’s the people and culture that make CAE outstanding, not just technology and processes” says Richard Behan, COO. “In order to deliver exceptional service to customers, businesses need to attract and develop outstanding staff. We are committed to investing in young people through our popular graduate scheme, where we provide new starters with continuous support, feedback and assistance to help them reach their full potential”.
A recent Account Manager’s Glassdoor review stated, “I started on a graduate scheme, which has given me every opportunity to develop. CAE have afforded me all the patience in the world to get to where I (and CAE) want me to be! I am here to stay for the foreseeable future.”
On sponsoring this particular Herts Business Award category, Richard said, ”We are delighted to be sponsoring this important award, and are looking forward to seeing not just how local businesses are supporting the professional development of young people, but how the businesses themselves have gained and benefitted from the experience.”
