Business Person of the Year
Nominations for this award are welcome for and on behalf of individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to their company’s performance.

This award is open for any commercial business that contributes to the environment, community and society.

Company of the Year
This category is not directly entered but is chosen as the winner of winners from all our corporate entrants.

HR Excellence Award
This award is open for companies that offer complete recruitment solutions, can show successful trading and can demonstrate commitment to both their customers and their staff.

International Business of the Year
This award is open to any Hertfordshire-based business which has commenced or increased their sales and services overseas, and has a turnover of £2m-£30m.

Large Business of the Year
We are looking for evidence of an outstanding business that has a turnover in excess of £20m whose growth, ambition and quality of management has enabled it to deliver on a compelling business strategy.

Medium Business of the Year
This award is open to any business that has a turnover of £2m-£20m, whose growth, ambition and quality of management has enabled it to deliver on a compelling business strategy.

New Business of the Year
This award is open to any company that has started in business since January 1st 2012.

Online Business of the Year
This category highlights the achievements of those who have accepted the opportunity to develop their business through this modern medium. You should be able to demonstrate good internet site construction, with a good understanding and use of social media.

Small Business of the Year
This award is open to any business that has a turnover of less than £2m, whose growth, ambition and quality of management has enabled it to deliver on a compelling business strategy.

Supporting Young People Award
This award is to recognise the commitment given to helping young people through education and into employment.

The Customer Service Award
This is a new award for 2013 and is open to any business no matter what sector. You will need to be able to demonstrate your customer service record and you are able to submit a maximum of five testimonials.

The Innovation Award
This award celebrates businesses who are prepared to conceive, test and practice new ideas.

Young Entrepreneur
This award is open to any Young Entrepreneur under the age of 30 who has shown evidence of exceptional business vision and performance.
